How to Become a CCT Producer
There are three steps to becoming involved with Cincinnati Community Television (CCT).
First - Attend an orientation session.
Second - Become a certified producer.
Third - Submit your completed program for cablecast.

STEP 1 – Attend an Orientation Session

NEXT ORIENTATION: SEPTEMBER 2024

The first step to getting involved with Cincinnati CommunityTelevision is to attend a free orientation session, which will provide detailed information about CCT policies and procedures, and training required to become a Certified Producer.

Only certified producers, those who have successfully completed training programs, will have access to CCT equipment and lab resources. CCT equipment and lab resources can only be used to create programming that will premiere on a Cincinnati Community Television cable channel. Proof of Cincinnati residency is required to become a certified producer.

STEP 2 – Become a Certified Cincinnati Community Access Producer

Successful community access producer certification training is required if a producer desires to use studio, field recording or post-production equipment resources.

These are hands-on courses where students learn to develop and produce a studio or location television production. Television is a collaborative technical medium and it is imperative that students learn to effectively work together as a team of crew members working toward a common goal.

Cincinnati residents who are media producers may submit original programs for air on a CCT channel if they meet submission requirements. This certification requires attending an information session that covers all CCT facility usage guidelines, the CCT code of conduct, technical program delivery requirements and submission guidelines.

STEP 3 – Submit Your Program for Cablecast

Once a producer has completed a program it must be submitted to air on one of the Cincinnati Community Television channels.
